One of my favorite Hip Hop groups since Little Brother left the game, Tanya Morgan, Che Grand (of Lessondary), King Mez (Jamilla), and BK's own Skyzoo have a visual from their forthcoming project, The Official SXSW Mixtape. Grab your download for "Without Hands" (here) while you can.
So this is how the accused sex predator, Dominique Strauss-Kahn is living. Well at least for now while he's on house arrest. This is a far cry from the '3 hots and a cot' he was getting while at Rikers Island. The $14 million dollar pad is renting for $50,000 a month, but this guy isn't getting a nice welcome from his new neighbors. View more pictures of his Tribeca, NYC (here).
I can't say this enough, WE ARE BIG RAPSODY FANS OVER HERE AT ST! Love this girl's delivery, flow and her concentrated bars fits perfectly over this sick track from 9th Wonder. This is some new sh... from Rapsody's next project, Thank H.E.R. Now which will drop 6/21.
This sick woman pictured above, Felicia Rae McClure, 32, allegedly tried to sell her 13-year-old daughter's virginity to a man for $10,000, cops said. The woman's boyfriend busted her by reading text messages sent between the mother and the man who cops called, "Don". McClure was charged with two counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child and two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. Her bail was set at $250,000. Read more (here).
Seems that Frank Ocean will re-release his mixtape, Nostalgia, ULTRA. This is a first visual we get from Frank for "Acura Integurl". This track that isn't on the first release, so this is new music to the new Frank Ocean fans and should be on the album/mixtape re-release.
last post: Frank Ocean Live in NYC
Kenneth Price puts together the visual for the lead single off of Rapsody's forthcoming project, Thank H.E.R. Now, which is scheduled to drop June 21st. Did we say how much we love Rapsody here at ST? Get the song download (here).
Two of Queens finest hug this Havoc produced track for Kool G Rap's forthcoming project, Riches, Royalty, Respect, which will drop at the end of this month on the 31st.
During last night's Chicago/Miami game, Joakim Noah apparently shouted an anti-gay slur towards a fan sitting near the Bulls bench. Noah was quoted as saying, "I don't mean no disrespect to anybody. I just got caught up." The incident accrued when Noah got his second foul in the first quarter. Now this will cost Noah some money, just like it caused Kobe a little money. Joakim's tries to explain himself below.
Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green have worked together before they were judges on The Voice. A few years back, the two recorded a song, which was supposed to appear on the soundtrack to Chritina's film, Burlesque. Well the song never made the soundtrack, but it has hit the internet this weekend. Take a listen, this is a pretty a'right party song.
I know everyone has to hang their jersey up, but this is golf and its too soon for Tiger Woods to be out of the Top 10. His last win was 18 months ago. It doesn't even sound right when you say Tiger is not one of the Top 10 golfers in the world. But that's exactly what he is, not Top 10. His recent injuries along with not so great golfing, has him in a position he hasn't seen in a very long time. Hopefully his injuries can get better and Tiger can get back in the Top 10 of his sport.
T3 from Slum Village and Dilla's brother Illa J join forces on this joint that would make anyone from "The D" proud. The title of the track says it all, "Motor Freaks". Motown stand up. T3 goes in on this joint and who am I, but I say, this should definitely be his lead single.
Glad P is back. Prodigy just threw this joint on the internet last night via Twitter. It seems like Frank Ocean's "Novacane" track is the freestyle standard when it comes to rhymes about the opposite sex (ex.Joe Buddens-"Ordinary Love Sh*t pt.3"). Nonetheless, this is a cool little freestyle to stick in your iPods and mp3s. Also grab P's FreEP if you haven't (here).
This is such a beautiful song. Africa is the MOTHER of civilization and to have the Cast of Fela singing just adds another beautiful touch to the song. This song is off of Stephen Marley's Revelation Part 1: Roots of Life which drops May 23.
Talk about a loophole. Somehow a Michigan man won $2 million dollars in a state lottery, but the officials from the state of Michigan says he can still receive food stamps. If you think he wants to discontinue getting food stamps, think again. The man defends himself for receiving food stamps. Read more (here).
Mike Tyson and his wife Lakiha Spicer dance together on Argentina's version of Dancing With The Stars. Mike Tyson looks a little stiff. Excuse me, a lot stiff.
Timothy Ray Brown, a 45-year-old man now living in the Bay Area of California may be the first person ever cured of the deadly disease AIDS, the result of the discovery of an apparent HIV immunity gene. Read more (here).
Here it is. Beyonce's long-anticipated video, "Run The World (Girls)". Well, actually it premiered yesterday and I must say the choreography is off the meter in this video.
