Another leak hit the nets off of Jean Grae's Cookies or Coma project. She calls this joint, "R.I.P." and its produced by Ski Beatz. Ski does work with the 'Rock it In the Pocket' sample used on this track and of course if you love lyrics, adding Styles and Kweli to this joint make my ears wet. Enjoy!

Jesse Boykins III dropped his version on Andre 3000's, "Prototype" sometime last year and it sure did make a buzz on the internet. Now JBIII releases a visual for his version and he calls it, "Prototype 3010".

Now this made my day to see new music in my inbox from EPMD. The Green Eyed Bandit and Parrish Smith went into the studio and came out with this incredible single, "Don't Get Clapped" that has that original Boom Bap Hip Hop sound. Now I can see the party people on the dance floor for this tune.

Honestly speaking Lil B (The Based God) is not someone I'm going to check for, but dude surprised me on this 9th Wonder track. Lil B steps his lyrical game up on this joint and I guess you have to when you're on a 9th track that features Jean Grae (one of the best MCs out there regardless of gender) and Phonte who take their wordplay very serious. This is the first time Phonte touch a 9th beat since they put their differences aside and as a fan, I'm just glad these two are back making music. #positive

Talib Kweli -"How You Love Me" (video)

Talib Kweli drops his second visual from his album Gutter Rainbows. ST premiered the single, "How You Love Me" (back in Dec) and now Talib along with Directors Joslyn Rose and Roy Miles brings us a visual for this love song. To be honest, this love song is better than a lot of these R&B singers out here now. The lyrics in this song leave something to the imagination of the listener, when some R&B cats out here are strickly going straight without a chaser. Rap song or not, this is an awesome Love Song accompanied by an awesome video. And if you haven't by now, grab that Gutter Rainbows for $5 (here).

Its not the money that makes a video (short film), but the collaborative work behind the the art of the Director. Behind Terence Nance's direction, Pharoahe Monch brings us the amazing visual for his lead single, "Clap (one day)" from his forthcoming album, W.A.R. (We Are Renegades). If you got 10 minutes, check out this video, then join me in saying, "WoooooooW!" (in my Flava Flav voice). This short film stars Gbenga Akinnagbe (from The Wire), Kim Howard & Josiah Small. This is one of the best short films I've seen thus far. Rappers need to put out more of this and less of that 'Runway' stuff. #imjustsaying. Staring At Breasts Is Healthy

Men, have you ever been caught staring at a woman's breasts? Well a new German study shows that, staring at a women's breasts is actually healthy. The study was conducted on 500 men over a span of 5 years. The men who looked at breasts over the time period had lower rates of heart problems, a lower resting heart rate, and lower blood pressure. The study recommends that men take in about 10 minutes of 'breast watching' a day to stay 'healthy'. Just don't get slapped while doing it fellas. Read more (here).

Rihanna's Topless Promo Shoot for Nivea

Guess Chris is not the only one taking off his clothes. Not too long after the Minister Farrakhan calls her music 'Flithy', Rihanna poses topless to become the official voice (or face) of Nivea. In celebration of Nivea's 100 Years Skincare for Life campaign, Rihanna landed the role as the spokesperson. Her official kick off with the brand will begin in May.

Chris Brown Nude Photo (**18 and Over Only**)

Now I know there may be some happy young ladies who want to know what Chris Brown is packing, but this is another blow to Chris Brown's reputation. Chris Brown allegedly snapped this nude photo himself using his cell phone as you can see. The photo hit WorldStarHipHop last night and allegedly the photo was sent in from a former girlfriend of Chris Brown. SMDH, when will these people learn. 

Shaw University Mens and Womens Basketball Teams Take Home 2011 CIAA Title

Shout out to the Men and the Women Basketball teams of Shaw University as they both were crowned as the CIAA Champions yesterday in Charlotte. The Mens team of Shaw edged out Livingstone College in a close game winning 72-69. Read more (here). While the Womens team of Shaw beat Johnson C. Smith University 62-56. Read more (here). Congrats to the University and both of these great teams. 

Fort Valley State University Womens' Basketball Wins SIAC 2011

Shouts out to the Fort Valley State University Womans' Basketball team as they beat Miles College to become the 2011 Champions of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC). The win sends The Lady Wildcats to the  NCAA Division II South Regional Tournament next week. Read more (here). 

Clark-Atlanta University Wins SIAC Tournament

Shouts out to the Clark-Atlanta University Mens Basketball Team as the Panthers beat Stillman College yesterday in Atlanta on the campus of Morehouse College to become the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Champions. Clark-Atlanta finished the season 22-8 overall and the win sends the 4th seed team to the NCAA Division II South Regional Tournament. Read more (here).

Phonte' lends some vocals, while Styles P lends a couple of bars for Pharoahe Monch's, "Black Hand Side" off of his forthcoming album, W.A.R. (We Are Renegades). This is not bias when I say, I've been waiting on my Southside, Queens brother album since last year. And this is not bias, when I say from what I've heard off the project, this should be one of the best Hip Hop albums of the 2011 thus far. W.A.R. (We Are Renegades)  is set to drop 3/22. Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann Tells HERstory Instead of History

Minnesota Republican congresswoman, Michele Bachmann made a public address and it appears she was giving HERstory instead of HISTORY. The congresswoman made some recent remarks about diversity in America, including claims that America's Founding Fathers, "worked tirelessly until slavery was no more" and skin color "Didn't matter" in the early days of democracy. She continues on as if she is telling her children a bedtime story. "It didn't matter whether they descended from known royalty or are of a higher class or a lower class. It made no difference. Once you got here, we were all the same. Isn't that remarkable? It is absolutely remarkable." The funniest thing about listening to certain 'leaders' of certain political parities, are the people who follow these so-called leaders. Be careful who you follow people.

White Supremacist Leader Shot Dead in His Home

One of the most notorious white supremacist leaders was shot dead, authorities said Thursday. David Lynch, 40, was found with bullet wounds in his head and upper torso in his Sacramento home early on Wednesday morning. His girlfriend, who is five months pregnant, had been shot in her leg as well and she is expected to survive. Read more (here).

Minister Farrakhan Thinks Rihanna Is Filthy and Her Fans Are Swine

Rhianna just took a shot from Donald Trump for missing a booked performance which I totally understand, because that's business. However, I'm a little confused about the Minister Louis Farrakhan be VERY judgmental about Rhianna's Grammy's performance. The Minister called Rhianna's music "filthy" and went so far as to call her fans "swine". 

Via the Chicago Sun-Times:

He also criticized the sexually charged performances of pop star Rihanna, saying they were “filthy” and that people who enjoyed such antics were “swine,” a description he also applied to homosexuals and lesbians. He also criticized immigrant Muslims in the Chicago area for moving to white suburbs and being patronizing toward Black Muslims.

No worries, Rihanna responded by way of Twitter:

Let me say this, some people regardless of their religious beliefs, open their mouths in the public when they should keep it shut. This is for both The Minister and Rhianna. The Minister comments are his opinions and is in no way meant to shape our views about Rhianna. ST personally enjoyed this young woman's performance and does not consider myself "swine", but out of respect for The Minister and The Nation of Islam, we'll keep our comments to ourselves. Something young Rhianna should have done and not go Twitter to retaliate. Not comment would have gone further, than these Twitter comments, but I like your Gansta Ri, LoL!
