Nick Cannon Produced MTV Show "Son of a Gun"

Nick Cannon is producing the show, "Son of a Gun", which will showcase The Bronx Rapper Cory Gunz following in his dad, Peter Gunz's footsteps. Read more (here). Peter Gunz is known for the classic, "Deja Vu (Uptown Baby)". 

Wendy Williams' 2007 Radio Show Exposed Hot 97 DJ Mister Cee's

For those around the country and globe who've never heard Wendy Williams' radio show, you really missed out on some great radio entertainment. This is an old audio feed of Wendy Williams and Charlamagne back in 2007 when her radio show was on WBLS. Wendy reads a letter from a listener claiming that she saw DJ Mister Cee visiting a tranny that lived next door to her. Now I don't know who Wendy was talking about, but listen and let me know who you think she's talking about. Only thing I can say is, "WOOOOOOOOW!!!" (in my Flava Flav voice). Applebee's Resturant Accidently Serves 15-Month-Old Baby Alcohol

A Detroit Applebee's mistakenly served a 15-month-old alcohol instead of apple juice in his sippy cup. Taylor Dill-Reese the mother of the 15-month-old tells her story to Detroit's WJBK.

Dill-Reese immediately rushed her son to the hospital, where his blood alcohol level was .10 – which if he was old enough to drive a car would put him over the legal limit.
Luckily, the tot turned out to be fine – but Dill-Reese is still outraged that a family meal turned into such a frightening experience.

The manager of the Applebee's apologized and the chain promised to launch an investigation into the matter, because no one at the family's table ordered any alcoholic beverages.

Today ST (me/we/us) want to thank the many people who gave shout outs today on Facebook for our 'Creation Day' or as I like say, "BORN"day (click here).

Two years ago I started this site and I love what Skelle Top has turned into. I remember the day I came up with a name, a concept, and an idea. The original idea/plan turned into a stagnite state and rather than get upset , my/our name was more important and an alternate agenda came to light and was BORN. An agenda guided by THE CREATOR.

So this second year, I want to say, "Thank you all so much for your support."

Thanks all for every 'shared' links on Facebook, every 're-Tweet' on Twitter, every grassroots, word of mouth, person who keep their ears to the street, and most of all, LOVE HIP HOP AND IT's CULTURE, Thanks so much.

Anthony David Drops New Video for "GOD Said"

Anthony David dropped his new video, "GOD Said" yesterday and I wish that idiot of a pastor in Florida was forced to watch this video. This video touches on the religious extremist and the false messages that they put out there. I mean, if a person is suppose to be about GOD, which is LOVE, then throw out so much hate? Shouts out to AD for touching on a subject matter that really needed to be addressed. This is a powerful video, enjoy and don't forget, As Above So Below is in stores or you can grab it (here). 

Sade – "Still In Love With You"

Sade is putting the final touches for her next release, The Ultimate Collection and now we get the first release which is Sade covering the Thin Lizzy classic, "Still In Love With You". The Ultimate Collection will be a double-disc (didn't know artist still came out with these) collection of Sade cuts along with some new ones. Of course one of those new cuts will be a song with Jay-Z. Yeah, if you haven't heard by now, Sade agreed to do a song with the Jigga Man. Her album is set to drop May 3rd.

Rapsody – "EXTRA EXTRA" feat. Mac Miller & Halo (prod. Khrysis)

One of ST's favorite people/Emcees is our girl Rapsody and she's putting the finishing touches on her next solo project, Thank H.E.R. Now. Today we got our hands on her 2nd release from that project (click here if you missed out on the last joint) and this go 'round she brought along Mac Miller and Halo to join her on this Khrysis' track. Dope beat, dope rhymes, need I say more? This is Hip Hop.

Jill Scott – "Shame" feat. Eve

The one thing NeoSoul music is, is its HIP HOP. If someone ever asked me what is the difference between R&B and NeoSoul, my answer would be, NeoSoul embraces Hip Hop and its culture more than R&B does. Hence, one of my favorite singers in the game, Jill Scott. Jill Scott is officially Hip Hop and she embraces it on her lead single, "Shame" which features her Philly native, Eve. This track takes samples from Special Ed's I'm The Magnificent and turns it into a 2K dance track. Let's not forget that it was The Roots who introduced us to "Jilly From Philly", so its natural for her to embrace her Hip Hop roots in her music. Her album, The Light Of The Sun is scheduled to drop later on this year.

Allegations Surrounding HOT 97's DJ Mister Cee Confirmed by NY Daily News

ST first heard about this via Facebook this past Sunday, but didn't want to put it out there until we knew it  was official. Well today, its official. If you haven't heard by now, Hot 97's own Mister Cee was busted with a male prostitute in NYC last week. It was first reported on Jackie Jasper's blog this past Sunday and had many people questioning its authenticity. What Jackie Jasper post is usually on point and today, the NY Daily News published confirmation of Cee's arrest and the situation (read here). In all honesty, to each is own and we wish Cee the best through his ordeal.
