Black Dynamite vocally stars Michael Jai White, Tommy Davidson, and Kym Whitley

Mos Releases A New "Black Star" Track

Mos Def and Talib Kweli are Black Star! The group the game misses dearly, but soon these two words spitters will be back together again on song. Right now, this should hold us over. Its a little unfinished, but it sounds like it can be a classic for Madlib who produced this track. Don't ask me the title, all I know is Mos put this on his Facebook page for us to enjoy, so enjoy.

Eric Williams Responds to Jennifer and Defends His Mother During Phone Interview

First, let me say that I don't watch the show Basketball Wives. However, I know the drama on the show has gotten some attention and it does have people talking. So since the streets are talking about it, then ST will post it. This morning on the way to work, I was listening to NYC's Power 105 The Breakfast Club and they had a phone interview with Jennifer Williams and what really got my attention was the phone interview with Eric Williams. What got my attention was Eric's tone. Don't talk about his Momma. LOL!!

Listen to Jennifer above and Eric response (which is straight COMEDY!!) below. Eric just let all his Newark, NJ roots out during this interview.

Distrubing Video: White Teens Drives Over Black Man Killing Him

In this disturbing video, a bunch of white teens drove to Jackson, Mississippi with one thing in mind, to hurt a Black person. They stubbled upon James Craig Anderson, a 49-year-old auto plant worker near his car and began beating him while along chanting racial epithets. If that wasn't enough, the crew jumped in their pickup and drove right over him, killing him instantly. Deryl Dedmon, 18, is accusesed of running over Anderson and being held on $800,000 bond. John Aaron Rice, 18, has been charged with simple assault.

New Cee-Lo Green Video - "Cry Baby"

Cee-Lo Green drops his new video, "Cry Baby" and the video gets an appearance from Jaleel White aka Steve Urkel as Cee-Lo Green. This visual, like the song, gives a 'happy, dance' feel, to a song about breaking up. Very creative.

University of Cincinnati Police Taser Results in Death of Freshman Student

Everette Howard, 18, died early Saturday morning apparently from a University of Cincinnati Campus Police's taser gun. Some eyewitnesses report Howard was trying to break up a fight when campus police responded. The police are saying that Howard 'appeared' angry and didn't 'follow orders'. Witnesses said Howard collapsed after a campus police officer stunned him with a taser. That officer is currently on paid administrative leave while the investigation is on-going. An autopsy is expected  to be performed today. Howard was an honor, on scholarship at the university, and was taking summer courses to get ahead in his academic career. Our prayers are with the family.

Michael Beasley 'Mushes' Fan's Face At Dyckman Street Ball Game

One thing about street ball is the crowd of hecklers. Street ball hecklers are worst than those in the NBA. Well this one fan got more than he bargained for, when his mouth appears to be a little bit too much for Michael Beasley. MB takes his hand, cups the fan's entire face, and then 'MUSH!'. I'm just glad no one got hurt and I expect MB to be a little bit more professional. Hopefully this won't hit his pockets, but I know if I was that fan, expect to get a call from my lawyer MB.

Rocksteady Crew 34th Anniversary Video Recap

NOW THIS IS HIP HOP!! And this is what this culture is all about, its about the children expressing themselves through creative art forms. Shouts out to Crazy Legs and The Rock Steady Crew for being in the game 34 years. I'm loving the baseball jerseys with the 77 (representing the RSC year of birth) on the back. The RSC is Zulu and like Hip Hop, its UNIversal, and proves how global this Hip Hop thing is. By the way, can a brother get a download link somewhere?

Plaxico Burress Signs with The NY Jets

Plaxico Burress (aka-Chedder Bob) returns to the game he loves and is now a New York Jet. Inside sources says Plaxico wanted to return to The Giants, his former team, but sources say Plax decided to go with the money instead of returning to The Giants. Its ironic Plaxico returns to the city that railroaded him (yes, he was treated unfairly), but he should be received well by The Ny Jets fans. I know when it comes to this season and seeing Plax in Gang Green, "Can't Wait!". Read more (here).
